時有寧猛力者，與陳後主同日生，自言貌有貴相，在陳日，已據南海，平陳後，高祖因而撫之，即拜安州刺史。 At that time there was Ning Mengli, born on the same day as Chen's last ruler. He claimed his features marked him for nobility. Under Chen he had already held the South Sea. After Chen fell, Emperor Gaozu comforted him and immediately appointed him governor of Anzhou.
