賡醇謹無大過，與沈一貫同鄉相比，暱給事中陳治則、姚文蔚等，以故蒙詬病云． Geng was sober and cautious without major faults, but as a townsman of Shen Yiguan he associated closely with him and was intimate with Supervising Secretaries Chen Zhize, Yao Wenwei, and others; for this he suffered reproach.
