嘗有部刺史奏事，過遵，值其方飲，刺史大窮，候遵沾醉時，突入見遵母，叩頭自白當對尚書有期會狀，母乃令從後閣出去。 A provincial inspector once stopped at Chen Zun's residence while on his way to report to the Secretariat, only to find a drinking party in progress. Hard pressed for time, he waited until Zun was thoroughly drunk, forced his way in to see Zun's mother, kowtowed, and explained his deadline. She then had him led out through a rear passage.
