時中官驃騎大將軍程元振居中用事，發瑱言涉不順，王仲昇賊平來歸，證瑱與賊合，故令仲昇陷賊三年。 The eunuch Cheng Yuanzhen then dominated the court. He claimed that Zhen's words smacked of treason; after the rebels were pacified, Wang Zhongsheng returned and testified that Zhen had colluded with them and had deliberately left him in rebel hands for three years.

代宗既悟元振之誣構，積其過而配流溱州。 When Daizong saw Yuanzhen's frame-up, he counted his crimes and banished him to Qinzhou.
