十二年，上謂宰臣曰：「朕嘗取尚書省百官行止觀之，應任刺史知軍者甚少，近獨深州同知辭不習為可，故用之。 In the twelfth year the emperor told his chief ministers, "I once reviewed the personnel records held by the Department of State Affairs; few officials were fit for prefectural or army command. Recently only Shenzhou Vice Commissioner Ci Buxi was acceptable, so I appointed him.
