推原其人所以脅汙者，輕重以情，悉心助峴，故峴愛恕之，譽一旦出呂諲、崔器上。 He traced the circumstances in which each man had been forced into complicity, weighing guilt and mercy by the facts of each case, and gave Xian his full support; Xian therefore valued this leniency, and Xian's reputation soon eclipsed that of Lü Yin and Cui Qi.
