廣德二年，代宗將享郊廟，拜鴻漸兵部侍郎、同中書門下平章事，尋轉中書侍郎。 In Guangde 2, when Daizong was to perform the suburban sacrifices, Hongjian was made vice-minister of war and grand councilor, and soon became vice-director of the secretariat.
