是時，梁祖以羅紹威初卒，全有魏博之地，因欲兼並鎮、定，遣供奉官杜廷隱、丁延徽督魏軍三千人入於深、冀，鎮人懼，故來告難。 The Liang Founder had just absorbed Weibo after Luo Shaowei's death and now aimed at Zhen and Ding as well; he sent Du Tingyin and Ding Yanhui with three thousand Wei troops into Shen and Ji, and the frightened Zhen lords sent word that they were in peril.
