莊宗滅梁，彥威自陜來朝，莊宗置酒故梁崇元殿，彥威與梁將段凝、袁象先等皆在。 Zhuangzong destroyed Liang. Yanwei came from Shaan to court; wine was set in the old Liang Chongyuan Hall. Yanwei sat with Duan Ning, Yuan Xiangxian, and other Liang generals.
