己未，太后誥曰：「比者，樞密使郭威，誌安社稷，議立長君，以徐州節度使赟，高祖近親，立為漢嗣，爰自藩鎮，征赴京師。 On jiwei the dowager proclaimed: "Recently Guo Wei, intending to settle the altars, deliberated establishing a senior ruler; Xuzhou commissioner Yun, Gaozu's close kinsman, was established as Han successor and summoned from his post to the capital.

以其年八月二日，復遣前宗正卿劉皞護靈盾，備儀仗，葬於許州陽翟縣之潁陵，祔神主於高祖之寢宮。 On the second of the eighth month Liu Hao escorted the coffin with full rites to Ying tomb in Yangdi, Xuzhou, and placed the tablet in Gaozu's shrine.

高祖之征鄴城也，一日，帝語太祖曰：「我夜來夢爾為驢，負我升天，既舍爾，俄變為龍，舍我南去，是何祥也？」 During Gaozu's Yedu campaign the emperor told Guo Wei, "I dreamed you were a donkey carrying me to Heaven, then a dragon that left me south—what omen is that?"
