顯宗聞之，擢奉朝請，遷羽林左監、虎賁中郎將，又遷長水校尉。 Emperor Ming heard of it and advanced him to supernumerary courtier, then colonel of the left household guard, then general of the rapid-as-tiger household guard, and finally colonel of the Changshui Regiment.
