清泰二年，以本官充史館修撰，與同職張昭遠等共修《明宗實錄》，轉右補闕，依前充職。 In the second year of Qingtai, while retaining his existing post he was made compiler at the Historiography Institute and, together with fellow compiler Zhang Zhaoyuan and others, jointly compiled the Veritable Record of Emperor Mingzong. He was transferred to Right Supplementation Censor and continued in the same office.
