自世祖以後，省臺之職，南人斥不用，及是，始復舊制，於是南士復得居省臺，自師泰始，時論以為得人。 Since Emperor Shizu's reign southerners had been barred from Secretariat and Censorate posts. Now the old system was restored, and southern scholars could again hold such offices—beginning with Shitai. Contemporary opinion held that the court had at last found the right men.
