衛紹王大安元年，以縣令闕少，令初入上中下令者，與其守闕可令再注丞簿一任，俟員闕相副則當復舊。 In Da'an 1 (1209) under Emperor Weishao, because magistrate vacancies were scarce, newcomers to upper-middle magistrate who were holding a vacancy could be drafted for one more term as deputy or registrar; when posts and vacancies were again balanced, the old rule would apply.
