至孝文時，莢錢益多，輕，乃更鑄四銖錢，其文為「半兩」，令民縱得自鑄錢。 By the time of Emperor Xiaowen, elm-seed tokens had grown numerous and light, so they cast new four-zhu coins bearing the inscription “half liang,” and allowed the people to cast coins freely.
