罷任，以本號還都，欲獻之，而世祖晏駕，鬱林新立，悛奉獻減少，鬱林知之，諷有司收悛付廷尉，將加誅戮。 When his term ended he returned to the capital with his former rank, intending to present the gifts, but Emperor Wu suddenly died and Emperor Yulin had just acceded; Quan scaled back his tribute, and when Yulin learned of it he hinted that officials should arrest Quan and hand him to the Court of Justice for execution.
