明宗自魏反，犯京師，曹皇后、王淑妃皆在常山，建立殺常山監軍并其守兵，明宗家屬因得無患，由是明宗益愛之。 When Mingzong rebelled from Wei and marched on the capital, Empress Cao and Consort Wang Shufei were at Changshan. Jianli killed the Changshan army supervisor and his garrison, so Mingzong’s family was unharmed, and Mingzong loved him all the more.
