清泰中，自彰聖都虞候率本軍從範延光平鄴，以功歷鄭、隴二州防禦使。 During the Qingtai period, as chief adjutant of the Zhangsheng army he led his troops with Fan Yanguang to pacify Ye. For his service he was made defense commissioner of Zheng and then of Long Prefecture in turn.
