晉祖受命，以懷忠故人，召典禁兵，三遷護聖左右廂都指揮使，遙領壽州節度使、檢校太保。 When the Jin founder took power he recalled Huaizhong, an old comrade, to command the palace guard. He was promoted three times to commander of the left and right wings of the Husheng army and held the posts of military governor of Shou Prefecture and acting Grand Guardian in absentia.
