阿必達，初名阿彌達，高宗命更名。 Abida, originally named Amita, was renamed by order of the Gaozong Emperor.

擢二等侍衛，命赴西寧祭告河神，探黃河真源，上命輯入河源紀略。 Promoted to second-rank guardsman, he was sent to Xining to announce sacrifices to the river god and trace the true source of the Yellow River; the emperor ordered his report compiled into the Records of the River Source.
