父奎，以文學名家，延祐、至治間，官京師，為集賢直學士，卒，諡文靖。 His father Kui was renowned for literary learning. During the Yanyou and Zhizhi reigns he served in the capital as direct academician of the Hall for Advancing Worthies. At his death he received the posthumous title Cultivated and Tranquil.
