黃巢陷京師，天子出居成都，敬瑄遣黃頭軍部將李鋋鞏鹹以兵萬五千戍興平，數敗巢軍。 After Huang Chao seized the capital, the emperor withdrew to Chengdu. Chen Jingxuan sent Li Shen and Gong Xian of the Yellow Head Army with fifteen thousand men to hold Xingping, and they repeatedly routed Huang Chao’s forces.
