其明年，大將軍、驃騎大出擊胡，得首虜八九萬級，賞賜五十萬金，漢軍馬死者十餘萬匹，轉漕車甲之費不與焉。 The next year, the great general and swift cavalry greatly went out to attack the Hu, obtained eighty or ninety thousand ranks of heads and captives, and rewarded and bestowed five hundred thousand gold. The dead horses of the Han army numbered more than a hundred thousand, and the expenses for transport, ferrying, chariots, and armor were not included in this.
