帝患之，問計於郭崇韜； The Emperor was vexed and asked Guo Chongtao for counsel;

崇韜請於下流據河築壘，以救鄆州。 Chongtao urged stockades downriver on the Yellow River to save Yan.

帝善之，即令崇韜與毛璋率數千人中夜往博州濟河東，晝夜督役，居六日，營壘將成。 The Emperor agreed and sent Chongtao and Mao Zhang with several thousand men at midnight from Bozhou across the river to the east bank, pressing the work night and day; in six days the works were nearly done.
