庚申，濠州团练使郭廷谓以其州来降。 On gengshen Hao Prefecture training commissioner Guo Tingwei surrendered his prefecture.

身居其地而来降者书「附」，再遇、廷谓虽以地降，既降而不居其地，故不书「附」而书「降」。廷谓不书「叛」，事见南唐世家。 Defectors who still held their posts are recorded as “attached.” Zaiyu and Tingwei surrendered territory but did not stay to hold it, so the text says “surrendered” rather than “attached.” Tingwei is not called a “rebel”; see the Southern Tang house chronicle.
