晉高祖即位，用為奉國右廂都指揮使，領舒州刺史，從征範延光於鄴，遷宿州團練使，俄改隴州防禦使。 When Jin Gaozu acceded, he was made commander of the right wing of the Fengguo army and concurrent prefect of Shuzhou. He joined the campaign against Fan Yanguang at Ye, was transferred to regimental commissioner of Suzhou, and soon made defender of Longzhou.
