歲餘，為奉國指揮使，從契丹主至相州，遂令以本軍戍守。 After more than a year he became commander of the Fengguo army. He followed the Khitan emperor to Xiangzhou and was then ordered to garrison the city with his own troops.

契丹主留高唐英為相州節度使。 The Khitan emperor left Gao Tangying as military governor of Xiangzhou.

會契丹主死，漢祖趨洛，唐英遣使歸款，漢祖大悅，將厚待唐英。 When the Khitan emperor died and the Han founder hurried to Luoyang, Tangying sent an envoy to submit. The Han founder was delighted and was about to reward Tangying generously.
