史臣曰：閔帝爰自衝年，素有令問，及征從代邸，入踐堯階，屬軒皇之弓劍初遺，吳王之几杖未賜，遽生猜間，遂至奔亡。 The historiographer writes: Emperor Min from infancy had enjoyed a fine reputation. When summoned from the fief at Dai he ascended the throne, yet while the Yellow Emperor's bow and sword had only just been bequeathed and the King of Wu's armrest and staff had not yet been granted, suspicion suddenly arose and flight and ruin followed.
