考諱敬儒，母安氏，以唐天祐十一年六月二十七日生帝於太原汾陽裏。 His father's posthumous name was Jingru, and his mother was Lady An. He was born on the twenty-seventh day of the sixth month of Tianyou 11 (914) at Fenyang Lane in Taiyuan.
