十五年夏四月，至上都見帝，親試所學，大驗，授著作佐郎，仍以內嬪松夫人妻之。 In the fourth month of summer 1278 he appeared before the emperor at Shangdu; the emperor personally tested his skills and found them remarkably accurate. He was appointed Assistant Compiler, and the court also gave him Lady Song of the inner palace in marriage.
