光化元年十二月，晉之潞帥薛誌勤卒，罕之乘其喪，自澤州率眾徑入潞州，自稱留後，以狀聞於克用曰：「聞誌勤之喪，新帥未至，慮為他盜所窺，不俟命，已屯於潞矣。」
