三年，李世賢、黃文金復合犯江西，將以遙掣江寧之師，寶田逆擊白沙關，奪梘橋要隘，鈔擊於大濟關、泥嶺關，賊竄山谷，復金谿，以按察使記名，授雲南按察使。 In the third year Li Shixian and Huang Wenjin again invaded Jiangxi to tie down the Nanjing army. Baotian met them at Baishaguan, seized Jiqiao pass, struck at Dajiguan and Nilingguan, drove the rebels into the hills, recovered Jinxi, was registered as judicial commissioner, and was appointed judicial commissioner of Yunnan.
