西蜀李順為亂，詔發兵水陸進討，以荊渚居其要害，命遜為右驍衛大將軍、知江陵府，賜錢二百萬，白金三千兩。 When Li Shun rebelled in Western Shu, the court ordered land and sea forces to mount a campaign. Because Jingzhou occupied the strategic choke point, Xun was made Right Valiant Guard Grand General and prefect of Jiangling, with grants of two million strings of cash and three thousand taels of pure silver.
