坤一擢江西巡撫去，以同知劉培一代領其軍，將親赴南寧督戰，會偽康王汪海洋竄粵，將入廣西，詔凱嵩駐防潯州。 Kunyi was promoted to Jiangxi governor and departed; Subprefect Liu Peiyi took over his forces. Kaisong was preparing to lead the campaign at Nanning in person when the pretender Prince Kang, Wang Haiyang, fled into Guangdong and threatened Guangxi; the court ordered Kaisong to hold Xunzhou.
