敬璋死，其將劉萬子代為刺史。 Jingzhang died. His officer Liu Wanzi became prefect.

梁開平二年，葬於州南，萬子在會，其將許從實殺萬子，自為延州刺史。 In Liang Kaiping 2, as they buried Jingzhang south of the city, Wanzi was at the rites. Officer Xu Congshi killed him and seized Yan.

是時，萬興兄弟皆將兵戍境上，聞萬子死，以其部下數千人，降梁。 The brothers were then on frontier duty. Hearing of Wanzi’s death, they led several thousand men to Liang.
