時帝又以源直心為奉常正卿，劉祥道為司刑太常伯，上官儀為西台侍極，郝處俊為太子左中護，凡十餘人，皆帝自擇，以示宰相李勣等，皆頓首謝。 The emperor also personally selected more than ten men — Yuan Zhixin as director of ceremonies, Liu Xiangdao as vice minister of justice, Shangguan Yi as attendant of the western secretariat, Hao Chujun as left protector of the heir apparent — and presented them to Chancellor Li Ji and his colleagues, who all bowed in gratitude.
