令坤聞援至，復入城守，與孟俊兵戰，大敗之，擒孟俊，敗其將馬貴於楚州灣頭堰，擒漣州刺史秦進崇。 When Lingkun heard that relief had arrived, he re-entered the city to hold it. He fought Mengjun's army and routed it, capturing Mengjun himself. At Wantou Dam in Chuzhou he defeated Mengjun's general Ma Gui and captured Qin Jinchong, the prefect of Lianzhou.
