久之，都城中食盡，先出其民萬餘人，數與禿餒謀決圍以走，不果，都將馬讓能以城降，都自焚死。 Long after, the city ran out of food. They sent out more than ten thousand civilians, plotted with Tujie several times to break out, and failed. Du’s officer Ma Rangneng surrendered the city. Du burned himself to death.
