梁滄州節度使戴思遠棄城遁去，舊將毛璋入據其城。 Dai Siyuan of Cang fled; Mao Zhang, an old officer, seized the city.

李嗣源帥師招撫，璋以城降。 Li Siyuan marched to win them; Zhang surrendered.

是月，貝州平，以滄州降將毛璋為貝州刺史。 That month Bei fell; Mao Zhang, who had come over from Cang, was made prefect of Bei.
