史臣曰：昔武皇之起並、汾也，會鹿走於中原，期龍戰於大澤，蓄驍果之士，以備鷹犬之用。 The historian remarks: When the Martial Emperor first rose in Bing and Fen, the realm was in turmoil like deer scattering across the central plains and dragons contending in the great marsh. He gathered fierce, resolute men to serve as the hawks and hounds of his cause.
