福入見明宗，涕泣言為重誨所擠。 Fu came before Mingzong in tears and said Chonghui had forced him out.

明宗召重誨為福更佗鎮，重誨曰：「福為刺史無功效而建節旄，其敢有所擇邪！」 Mingzong called Chonghui to move Fu elsewhere. Chonghui said: “Fu was a prefect with no merit and got a commissioner’s banner—how dare he pick and choose!”

明宗怒，謂福曰：「重誨遣汝，非吾意也。 Mingzong flared up and told Fu: “Chonghui sent you—not my wish.

明宗遣人謂福曰：「我何少汝而欲負我！」 Mingzong sent word: “How have I wronged you that you would betray me!”

福章再上，即隨而至，明宗不之罪，徙鎮彰義。 Fu memorialized again and came in person right after. Mingzong did not punish him and moved him to Zhangyi.
