知留後時，仙芝乳母子鄭德詮已為郎將，德銓母在宅內，仙芝視之如兄弟，家事皆令知之，威望動三軍。 As rear commander, Xianzhi's foster brother Zheng Dequan was already a langjiang; Xianzhi treated Dequan and his mother like family and let them into every household matter — their sway over the army was immense.

仙芝妻及乳母於門外號哭救之，不得，因以其狀上仙芝。 Xianzhi's wife and foster mother wailed at the gate in vain and reported the affair to Xianzhi.
