用番人木塔爾策，分師由中、南兩路進，潛軍登北山巔，遂取美諾，明亮等亦克僧格宗來會，凡七日，小金川平。 Following a strategy proposed by Mutar, a local tribesman, they split the force along the central and southern routes while secretly sending troops to the northern summit, then seized Meinuo. Mingliang's column also took Sengge Stockade and linked up. Within seven days, Lesser Jinchuan was subdued.
