時朝廷以福王友璋鎮徐方，殷不受代，乃下詔削奪殷在身官爵，仍令卻還本姓蔣，便委友璋及天平軍節度使牛存節、開封尹劉鄩等進軍攻討。
The court had posted Prince of Fu Youzhang at Xuzhou; Yin refused replacement; an edict stripped his titles, restored the surname Jiang, and sent Youzhang, Niu Cunjie, Liu Yan, and others against him.
是時，蔣殷求救於淮南，楊溥遣大將朱瑾率眾來援，存節等逆擊，敗之。
Jiang Yin called on Huainan; Yang Pu sent Zhu Jin; Niu Cunjie and the rest routed the relief force.
貞明元年春，牛存節、劉鄩拔徐州，逆賊將殷舉族自燔而死，於火中得其屍，梟首以獻。
