廣平王收長安，嗣業統前軍，陣於香積祠北。 When the Prince of Guangping retook Chang'an, Siye led the vanguard and drew up north of the Xiangji Shrine.

歸仁匿兵營左，覘軍勢，王分回紇銳兵擊其伏，嗣業出賊背合攻之，自日中至昃，斬首六萬級，填澗壑死幾半，賊東走，遂平長安。 Guiren had hidden troops to the left of his camp to watch the imperial line. The prince sent Uyghur elite cavalry against the ambush while Siye struck from the rear. From noon until dusk they took sixty thousand heads; nearly half the enemy died filling the ravines. The rebels fled east, and Chang'an was recovered.
