开平元年春正月壬寅，天子使御史大夫薛贻矩来劳军。 In the first month of spring, Kaiping 1 (907), on the day renyin, the Tang emperor sent Censor-in-Chief Xue Yiju to visit the army and pay his respects.

封唐主为济阴王。 The deposed Tang emperor was given the title Prince of Jiyin.

謂天子為唐主，錄其本語如此。 This calls the Son of Heaven the Tang ruler, preserving the original wording as it stood.
