服闋，拜建威將軍、中軍臨川王諮議參軍，尋遷黃門侍郎，右軍安成王長史。 When mourning ended, he was appointed General Who Establishes Might and advisory army aide to the Prince of Linchuan in the Central Army; soon he was transferred to Yellow Gate Gentleman and chief clerk to the Prince of Ancheng in the Right Army.

還爲司空臨川王長史、領揚州大中正。 On returning he became chief clerk to the Minister of Works, Prince of Linchuan, and chief arbiter of Yang Province.
