其子岐連章懷太子事，詔令自誡切，真行以佩刀刺殺之，斷首棄道上，高宗鄙其為，貶睦州刺史。 His son Qi was implicated in Crown Prince Zhanghuai's conspiracy; the court ordered Zhenxing to discipline him harshly. Instead Zhenxing stabbed him with his dagger, cut off his head, and threw it in the street. Gaozong was disgusted and demoted him to prefect of Muzhou.
