與弟榮先，復相友愛，閨門之中，怡怡如也。 He and his younger brother Rongxian were deeply affectionate toward each other, and harmony reigned within the household.

榮先亦至孝，遭父喪，哀慕不已，遂以毀卒。 Rongxian was also supremely filial. When his father died, his grief and longing never ceased, and he ultimately died from the damage he had done to himself.
