十月，賊將桑明等五萬眾由常山逼衢州西溝溪，倚山為營，覬聯南路賊巢。 In the tenth month the rebel general Sang Ming led fifty thousand men from Changshan against Xigouxi west of Quzhou, pitched camps along the mountainside, and sought to link up with rebel strongholds to the south.
